What is the Smart Topics Feature?
NewsVibe’s Smart Topics feature helps you navigate the most important conversations of the day with ease. Using advanced semantic clustering technology, it automatically groups related news articles and social media posts into meaningful clusters, helping you track discussions without getting lost in information overload.
Each Saved Report, Domain, or Country (Daily Country Overview) is broken down into key topics, allowing you to see how the conversation unfolds across multiple themes.
How Does It Work?
- Access Smart Topics:
- Open the Topics section from the main menu.
- Choose from your saved Reports, predefined Domain, or Country list.
- Explore a saved REPORT:
- Each saved report is divided into 10 key topics, making it easy to identify dominant themes.
- Smart topics are only available starting the next day after saving the report.
- Topics include valuable insights like:
- Number of mentions (hits) – how many articles/posts belong to that topic.
- Total impact (views & reach) – how influential the topic is.
- Top 10 articles or posts – most relevant content for each topic.
- Smart keywords – most frequently used terms within each topic.
- Smart topics are sorted by the number of hits, and the green highlight indicates their impact (cumulative for each cluster).
- Explore Media Agenda for a COUNTRY:
- Navigate to the Countries section from the main menu to analyze media coverage by region. Select a country to view trending news, key topics, and coverage patterns
- Each report is divided into a minimum of 15 key topics, making it easy to identify dominant themes.
- Topics include valuable insights like:
- Number of mentions (hits) – how many articles/posts belong to that topic.
- Total impact (views & reach) – how influential the topic is.
- Top 10 articles or posts – most relevant content for each topic.
- Smart keywords – most frequently used terms within each topic.
- Smart topics are sorted by the number of hits, and the green highlight indicates their impact (cumulative for each cluster).
- Explore a DOMAIN:
- Dive deeper into specific areas like Sports, Politics, Economy, and more. Select a category to view the most relevant topics from a chosen day.
- Each report is divided into 15 key topics, making it easy to identify dominant themes.
- Topics include valuable insights like:
- Number of mentions (hits) – how many articles/posts belong to that topic.
- Total impact (views & reach) – how influential the topic is.
- Top 10 articles or posts – most relevant content for each topic.

Key Features of Topics
✔ Dynamic Clustering: There is a map that automatically groups related content into meaningful discussions.
✔ Category-Based Insights:

- 15 topic clusters per predefined domain.
- 10 topic clusters per saved report.
- Each cluster shows the number of articles, total impact, and top 10 most influential pieces.
- Saved Reports:
- Limited to 10 clusters per saved report.
- Each cluster contains statistics regarding the number of hits (i.e. the number of articles that belong to each cluster) and total impact, and displays the 10 most impactful articles or Facebook posts from a chosen day.
- Clusters are only available starting the next day after saving the report.
- Clusters are sorted by the number of hits, and the green highlight indicates their impact (cumulative for each cluster).
✔ Availability:
- Topics are generated daily and become available the next day.
- Example: A report saved on January 26 will have topic insights from January 27 onward.
- No access to historical data before the save date.
