How to Save Reports

Saving reports in NewsVibe allows you to keep track of important data and insights, making it easy to access and review them later. Here’s how you can save reports and manage them effectively.

Saving a Report

1. Perform a Search
   • Start by conducting a search using your desired keywords and filters.
2. Customize Your View
   • Adjust the filters and sorting options to refine your search results until you get the exact information you need.
3. Save the Report
   • Click on the “Save as Report” button located at the top of the search results page.

Accessing Saved Reports

1. Navigate to My Reports
   • Go to the “Reports” section in the main menu.
   • Select “Searches” or “Collections and Domains” to view a list of all the reports you have saved.
2. Give a name to your Reports
   • Give your report a meaningful name that reflects its content for easy identification later.
3. Open a Report
   • Click on the name of the report you wish to view. This will open the report with the saved search criteria and results.
   • You can edit the title of the report directly on the “My reports” page.

Modifying Saved Reports

1. Open the Report
   • Access the report you want to modify from the “Searches” section.
2. Edit Search Criteria
   • Adjust the filters, keywords, and other search parameters as needed.
3. Update the Report
   • Save the changes by clicking on the “Save” button. You can save it as a new report.

Deleting Saved Reports

1. Go to My Reports
   • Access the “Searches” or “Collectiond and Domains” section from the main menu.
2. Select the Report
   • Find the report you want to delete and click on the delete icon or option next to it.
3. Confirm Deletion
   • Confirm that you want to delete the report. This action cannot be undone, so ensure that you no longer need the report before deleting it.

Types of Reports

1. Searches – Boolean Search Reports 
   • These reports are based on Boolean search expressions.
   • Use these reports to track who mentions the searched terms.
   • Example: "CFR Cluj" AND fotbal
2. Individual sources or Collections – Custom Source List Reports
   • These reports are centered around a list of custom sources.
   • Use these reports to track what the included custom sources are communicating.
   • Example: Custom list of top sports websites.
3. NewsVibe Collections
   • Source lists curated by NewsVibe experts based on content, audience and historical behavior.
4. Content Domains
   • For example, Sports, Agriculture or Domestic Politics.

How to Save a Custom Collection

In order to create a custom collection, select the sources you want to include, and remove any queries from the search bar, leaving it empty. Then, press on the “Save” button, and the list will appear in the “Collections and Domains” section of “My reports”.

Viewing Reports

Each report provides access to 5 main sections, in addition to the Compare module:

• Feed. View all mentions relevant to the search criteria or custom source list. Explore all articles included in the topic. Use the Filter to adjust the period, content, sources, or to sort the results.
• Stats. Access detailed statistics from the NewsVibe platform: an overview of the most important metrics related to the topic, quantitative trends, and AI-based qualitative insights.
• Trends. Identify the subtopics in acceleration associated with the analyzed subject.
• Topics. A section that allows for a quick understanding of the main topics debated in the selected period in association with the studied theme.
• Network. Visualization of the semantic network analysis.

Limits on Saved Reports

The number of reports you can save simultaneously depends on your client account type. You can ask for information about other available packages.
