Network Analysis
Visualize the True Structure of Conversations
Network Analysis in NewsVibe is a powerful, cutting-edge tool that reveals how key entities connect within a conversation, offering unmatched insight into any media topic.
How It Works
- Advanced Communication Mapping: By applying search formulas (using Boolean keywords or selecting a saved report) combined with filters like time period, channels, regions, or source lists, NewsVibe processes the collected content.
- Nodes and Edges
- Nodes represent entities identified via Named Entity Recognition (NER) algorithms (people, brands, locations, organizations, events).
- Edges represent the number of co-occurrences between entities (how often two are mentioned together).
- Node Size and Edge Strength
- A larger node means the entity is more frequently mentioned.
- A thicker or stronger edge shows entities are frequently mentioned together.
- Cluster Detection: Entities naturally form clusters, identified by an additional clustering algorithm.
- Clusters are color-coded to reveal communities of closely linked concepts.
- Typically, 3 to 7 clusters are generated, depending on the topic’s complexity and fragmentation
- Focus on Top 100 Entities: Only the most frequent 100 entities are displayed to offer a clear and focused view of the conversation landscape.
⚡ What Makes NewsVibe Unique
- Ultra-Fast Results: Generate complex network maps within seconds.
- Interactive Visualization: Networks are not static images—you can explore the structure by moving nodes, zooming in to reveal additional labels, and hovering to access more detailed information.
- Exporting Networks: Export visualizations as images or manipulate the data further for detailed analysis.
No other media intelligence platform currently offers this level of powerful, real-time network visualization.
