Saving reports in NewsVibe allows you to keep track of important data and insights, making it easy to access and review them later. Here’s how you can save reports and manage them effectively.
Saving a Report
- Perform a Search
- Start by conducting a search using your desired keywords and filters.
- Customize Your View
- Adjust the filters and sorting options to refine your search results until you get the exact information you need.
- Save the Report
- Click on the “Save as Report” button located at the top of the search results page.
Accessing Saved Reports
- Navigate to Saved Reports
- Go to the “Reports” section in the main menu.
- Select “Saved Reports” to view a list of all the reports you have saved.
- Give a name to your Saved Reports
- Give your report a meaningful name that reflects its content for easy identification later.
- Open a Report
- Click on the name of the report you wish to view. This will open the report with the saved search criteria and results.
- You can edit the title of the report directly on the saved reports page.
Modifying Saved Reports
- Open the Report
- Access the report you want to modify from the “Saved Reports” section.
- Edit Search Criteria
- Adjust the filters, keywords, and other search parameters as needed.
- Update the Report
- Save the changes by clicking on the “Save” button. You can choose to overwrite the existing report or save it as a new report.
Deleting Saved Reports
- Go to Saved Reports
- Access the “Saved Reports” section from the main menu.
- Select the Report
- Find the report you want to delete and click on the delete icon or option next to it.
- Confirm Deletion
- Confirm that you want to delete the report. This action cannot be undone, so ensure that you no longer need the report before deleting it.
Types of Reports
- My searches – Boolean Search Reports
- These reports are based on Boolean search expressions.
- Use these reports to track who mentions the searched terms.
- Example:
"CFR Cluj" AND fotbal
- My lists – Custom Source List Reports
- These reports are centered around a list of custom sources.
- Use these reports to track what the included custom sources are communicating.
- Example: Custom list of top sports websites.
- Newsvibe lists
- Source lists curated by NewsVibe experts based on content, audience and historical behavior.
How to Save a Custom Source List
In order to create a custom list, select the sources you want to include, and remove any queries from the search bar, leaving it empty. Then, press on the “Save” button, and the list will appear in your Saved Reports.
Viewing Reports
Each report provides access to two main sections:
- Feed
- View all the actual mentions related to your search criteria or custom source list. Explore all articles included in your topic. Use Filter to adjust period, content, sources, or to sort results
- Stats
- Access detailed statistics included in the NewsVibe platform. This is an overview of the most important metrics related to your topic, quantitative trends and qualitative AI-based insights.
Limits on Saved Reports
The number of reports you can save simultaneously depends on your client account type. You can ask for information about other available packages.
